Description

Memorial Health in Savannah, GA seeks a High Risk Perinatal RN to deliver specialized, family-centered care to high-risk obstetric patients. The RN will monitor maternal-fetal status, manage complex antepartum and intrapartum conditions, administer medications, assist with high-risk deliveries, and coordinate interdisciplinary care. The nurse will educate and support families, maintain accurate documentation, and follow evidence-based protocols. Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk perinatal and antepartum patients
Continuously assess, monitor, and document maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and evidence-based protocols
Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely and accurately
Assist obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists with high-risk deliveries and procedures
Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, neonatal teams, and support staff
Educate and support patients and families regarding high-risk pregnancies, procedures, and postpartum care
Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and participate in rapid response situations
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based education
Precept and mentor newer staff, contributing to a collaborative team culture
High-risk obstetric nursing
Electronic fetal monitoring interpretation

Obstetric emergency management (e.g., PPH, preeclampsia)
