Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center seeks a part-time RN to join our perinatal team in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, monitoring maternal and fetal status, administering medications, and assisting with labor and delivery. You will educate and support families, collaborate with physicians and allied professionals, and respond to obstetric emergencies in a modern, technology-enabled setting. Provide compassionate perinatal nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpreting and documenting vital signs and assessments
Administer medications and treatments safely, following hospital and regulatory protocols
Assist physicians and midwives with labor, delivery, and obstetric procedures
Educate patients and families on perinatal health, newborn care, and discharge plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Respond to obstetric emergencies and follow unit-specific safety and escalation procedures
Maintain accurate electronic health records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
