Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Sonographer with ARDMS and OB/GYN certification for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based Perinatal Center.
Details
- Located in a hospital-based Perinatal Center on the 3rd floor of the main building
- Unit serves a perinatal/OB-GYN patient population across 3 hospital centers
- Caseload of approximately 10–12 patients per sonographer per day
- Day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Procedures include 1st trimester scans, BPP, Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy, OB complete, and NT scans
- Equipment includes GE E8 and E10 ultrasound systems
- EMR system is Viewpoint
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based sonography experience
- Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
- ARDMS certification required
- OB/GYN certification required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
Additional Information
- Fetal Echo experience is preferred
- NTQR certification is preferred
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- The department team includes sonographers, RNs, a genetic counselor, registrars, a director, and a clinical manager
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
